alysonAlyson Isbrandtsen

Raised on the Upper West Side of Manhattan, Alyson attended the Professional Children’s School while working professionally as a kid in show biz. Alyson received an early introduction to the arts at the age of 6, when she booked her first national commercial (Twining’s Tea). At 10 years old, she landed the part of Duffy in the first national touring company of Annie. Her other credits include Off Broadway shows, several national commercials, voiceovers, and various film and TV roles.

Alyson trained classically in voice with top New York City teachers, and studied at the Lucy Moses School of Music and The Neighborhood Playhouse. In dance, she studied at Steps and Broadway Dance Center. She had the opportunity to work on the other side of the business for 3 years in Manhattan as a talent scout, casting agent and talent manager. Alyson has been teaching singing lessons for over 15 years.

Her greatest joy comes from her husband Rob and 3 children, Jordan, Danielle, and Tyler, and their new puppy Riley. Alyson is delighted to be able to unite her passion for performing arts with her love of children with Star Kidz dancing, acting and singing classes for kids in NYC and Westchester.
